Sometimes villains are nothing less than loveable

This image is funny and yet very true. So often villains start off evil and then by the end of the book/movie you are completely and utterly infatuated with them. Klaus from The Vampire Diaries springs to mind (it’s the dimples).

I love the idea of writing a villain like that, but it would be difficult, I think, because villains  don’t often redeem themselves, they more just have something about them that is difficult to ignore (like dimples).

Succeeding in writing a loveable villain would be very difficult , I think.

I wish I could make Charlotte seem like that (not Joffrey, obviously! On the other hand…).
