  3. When I began blogging I had no idea what god had in store. I am presently working with an acquisition editor. I received one contract but it was not a good situation for me. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I’ve written a cookbook ,however this would be my first non-fiction book.

Happy New Years to you!!! Great plans. I too want to begin writing book reviews as well as sharing others survivor stories. I plan to continue reading about the craft of memoir writing, blog writing and further educate myself about the blog world. I will also continue sharing parts of my emerging memoir with everyone as I’m able to process the trauma. I have a feeling it will be a healing new year for all in some way, big or small.
    Cheers!

I’ve been working on a series of posts about the history of vacations in America. Probably have about another half dozen or so coming. Here’s an example http://offtheleash.net/2014/12/21/discrimination-and-bigotry/

  18. Happy New Year, Jodie. Interesting, “About.” Very down to earth. As you, I don ‘t associated with pessimists either. They tend to bring you down. They are drowning, and as you try to save them, they want to bring you to their doom. I’m an optimist, extrovert, and go getter. Looking forward to reading many of your posts. Blessings.
