A few years ago I used to read everything. I’d pick up every single book that touched my fingers and give it a go. I was also receiving a lot of ARCs from publishers (as all new and excited book bloggers do), so I’d read everything that appeared in my mailbox.
Now days I am WAY more picky. I generally only pick up a book if:
– The ratings and reviews on GoodReads are good.
– I’ve been following the author religiously and have heaps of their books.
– I’ve read one book from the author and am intrigued to see if the next will be just as good.
I follow a lot of the above authors on Facebook/Twitter etc, so I always know when they have something new coming out. And at the moment, I can’t wait to get my hands on the following titles!
